How fast is shipping to the US?
Orders ship within 1 business day and arrive in 2–3 business days — free and fully tracked. Your delivery window is shown on every product page and in your cart.
Is shipping really free?
Yes. Shipping is free on every US order, and every package is fully tracked.
How do I track my order?
As soon as your order ships, we email you a shipping confirmation with your tracking link. Just click “Track your package”. Step-by-step help is on our order status page.
I didn’t get a shipping email. What now?
Check your spam or promotions folder first. No email after 2 business days? Contact us at anna@wooden-town.com with your order number (it starts with #WT-) and we’ll send your tracking link.
Where do I find my order number?
It’s in your order confirmation email and starts with #WT-. Have it handy when you contact us — together with the email you ordered with and your full name.
Which payment methods do you accept?
PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay and all major credit cards. All payments run through Shopify’s secure checkout.
Building & difficulty

No experience needed — just the manual, a free evening and a little patience.
I’ve never built anything like this. Can I do it?
Yes. Every kit comes with an illustrated, step-by-step manual. If it’s your first build, start with a Beginner or Intermediate kit — you’ll be surprised how relaxing it is.
What do Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced mean?
Every kit is labeled with one of three difficulty levels. Beginner kits are quick, satisfying first builds. Intermediate kits add real mechanisms and are the sweet spot for most builders. Advanced kits are complex projects for experienced builders.
Do I need glue or tools?
Our mechanical models, marble runs and music boxes fit together without glue. Some miniature house and book nook kits use a little craft glue — anything extra is listed in the product description.
How long does a build take?
It depends on the model. You’ll find the estimated build time and the difficulty level on every product page, so you can pick a quick evening build or a full weekend project.
I’m stuck on a step. Can you help?
Of course. Email anna@wooden-town.com with the kit name, the step number and a photo of where you are. A real person replies within 24 hours on business days and helps you finish.

What if a piece is missing or breaks?
Free replacement — just send a photo of the piece to anna@wooden-town.com. Add the part number if you can find it.
I broke a piece while building. Is that covered too?
Yes. Missing or broken, it’s a free replacement — just send a photo.
What should I include in my email?
Your order number (it starts with #WT-), the email you used for the order, your full name, a photo of the piece (add the part number if you can find it). With that, we can help you right away.
How fast will I hear back?
A real person replies within 24 hours on business days.

How do 30-day returns work?
You have 30 days to return your kit, even if you’ve opened it. Contact us and we’ll take it back. Return shipping is paid by the customer. Details in our refund policy.
Can I return a kit I already opened?
Yes. Returns within 30 days are accepted for opened kits too. Return shipping is paid by the customer.
Who pays for return shipping?
Return shipping is paid by the customer. Missing or broken parts never need a return: we replace them for free.
How do I start a return?
Email anna@wooden-town.com with your order number (it starts with #WT-), the email you ordered with and your full name. We reply within 24 hours on business days with the next steps.
Do I need to return a kit because a part is missing?
No. Missing or broken parts are replaced for free — just send a photo.
