That energy feeds a flywheel that keeps the whole system steady, and a compass-style dial on the base shows where the radar is pointing. Finished in metallic blue and brushed silver, this 73-piece model has a sleek, futuristic look and comes together in about an hour.

Do I need glue or tools?
Our mechanical models, marble runs and music boxes fit together without glue, and no special tools are needed. Some miniature house and book nook kits use a little craft glue — any extras are listed in the product description.
Is this kit right for a beginner?
Check the difficulty and build time shown above. Beginner and Intermediate kits are perfect first builds; Advanced kits have more complex mechanisms for builders who want a challenge.
Does the model really move?
