This was the first wooden town model experience for me. It took me three mornings over coffee to build, about three hours each session. I know from experience you need to have patience and focus to detail on these types of models. As you can see from the video, it was very successful. The parts were very high-quality. After I put it together, I had to make a few adjustments for everything to go together right so no balls would get stuck but now it works great. I only used glue twice, just regular Elmers child’s wood glue.
This is a great way to relax. Complex enough to keep you interested and simple enough to avoid any frustration. I’m really enjoying putting this together.
I'm loving this project. It will be finished soon. It's been a fun challenge.
Loved building the Goliath roller coaster. This is my first build of this kind, and I didn't know really what to expect when I ordered. I was very impressed by the precision of the cut pieces and the clever design. Its just amazing that the entire thing is press-fit. I broke two tiny pieces, but there is so much redundancy in the assembly my glue joint wasn't even necessary in the end to hold everything securely. Great fun. Well worth it. Looking forward to another someday soon.

My sister, 10-year-old son, and I built the Night City Marble Run over our winter holiday. We enjoyed working independently building segments and then working together. We were surprised at the dexterity and finger strength required, but this is the first level 4 difficulty project that we have undertaken. The end result is truly wonderful - cranking the balls up to the top of the run and then watching to see which of the 4 or 5 routes the ball will take is very satisfying and entertaining. Highly recommend.
I've just begun, but I love it already. The parts break apart nicely and the fit is great.
I really enjoyed the time spent working on it. As it was my first one, I learnt as I was doing it, making some errors and breaking some parts (not many). I used glue to fix it. One has to pay careful attention to all details in putting the pieces together. I realized in some cases, that my pieces did not connect as they should; but I was able to fix it. I'm really amazed by the details in the design. I fully intend in building more projects. Now, I have to work on my STARRY NIGHT project. May be I should have started with this one. It looks less complicated. Thank you for the good time spent working on the Marble Night City.

I've been building kits since I was 10 years old. Balsa, plastic, radio controlled aircraft, and on and on.. These kits have added a new challenge in every way.. The detail is incredible.. And I get the same satisfaction I get when my model aircraft flies.. When something you build comes together and it does what it's supposed to, it's incredible! Assembling the coaster was a LOT of fun! It was also very addicting - just one more piece before bed, then another, and so on into the night... :-) The parts are very well made and the instructions very clear and easy to follow. Once everything was assembled I was pleased that it worked well. It is fun to turn the crank and watch the balls travel through the maze. This was my first kit so there were some things to learn. Originally I broke a few pieces by trying to use fingers to insert the thin wood tabs into the small slots. Thankfully I was able to use wood glue to fix my mistakes. Later I discovered that it's much easier to use needle-nose pliers to push the pieces together. Once I started using the pliers the pieces assembled easily. Now that it's done the model is displayed prominently on my office desk. Everyone who sees it is amazed by the intricacy, especially when they see it in motion. In my opinion it was definitely worth the money.
This was my second completed build from Wooden-town's many offerings and I must say it was a bit of a challenge at times. Patients is a must and thoughtful application of pressure is advised as the pieces are cut to extremely high tolerance. The material quality was very good as well as I found no voids or defects in the thin plywood pieces. I have several more models that I have begun and they are all of the highest quality. Study the plans carefully and think before you force anything into place and you will wind up with a model of heirloom quality. Great entertainment for all.
Not done building yet, but even my (slightly!) older eyes and fingers could handle this model. The instructions are clear and accurate, all the parts fit perfectly. Very enjoyable building experience! Can’t wait to finish and see it in action. And move on to the next one. I rate it very highly!
I was very impressed by this set. The wooden pieces are so intricate and delicate and at times were very challenging to assemble. The whole time I was hoping the project would actually come together and function properly. But the parts are so precisely cut and well designed that it all came together beautifully. It functions nearly perfectly with a few only a few malfunctions occasionally occurring. This is very well designed, high quality kit. I highly recommend it.
Im obviously not done yet but have hours of fun. To me this is the fun part, not the finished product. When I finish I will just have to get another one to build!

Great product! Fun model to build, directions and material quality are an A+. Very little tweaking was needed at the end to make all the runs work perfect. Looking forward to building more Wooden-town models.
This was a very enjoyable project. The instructions were easy to follow and no special tools were required or prior skill. It did help if you used the sand paper to remove any tabs that were ruff or if the parts were hard to put together. The key is not to rush and have a soft cloth on the work surface so if a part drops it will be easy to find and not slide off the work area. There are a few spare parts in case a critical part breaks. You do have to pay attention to the details and study the pictures to get the correct orientation but it wasn't hard to figure out.
I throughly enjoyed building it, some parts challenging to put together, but overall very fun.
One of our most successful builds. Still needed a little tweaking but good none the less. We even paired it with our legos and automated it!

Everything is going together well. However, I did break a piece. Hopefully I can fix it without having to order a new piece.
All pieces were well cut and easy tp remove. The directions couold have been a bit more detailed.
Was a blast to build. Will probably get the other one and the join them! So fun!

Putting the model together is a very satisfying process. Instructions are easy to follow, and parts work and fit together as they should. My son did lose a part, and I am waiting to hear whether the company offers replacement parts for sale.

Was fun to get it all,put together. Did have some issues with breaking parts, but that is on me, fingers are a bit big for some of the parts. But after the first one I did get a bit better being sure that the holes and posts lined up before forcing them together. Great fun and would recommend to anyone that likes to keep your fingers busy instead of watch the tv.
