Meet Spaceport — a motorized, hands-on plywood marble run that invites you to build, watch, and learn. The Spaceport runs on an electric motor and can also be turned by a manual crank, so the motion continues whether you want automatic operation or a quieter, hand-powered pace. All necessary parts are included, including marbles; no glue or special tools are required.
Made from layered plywood with clear plastic track elements and darker accent pieces, the model shows a geometric arrangement of linear pathways, circular gears and angular supports that make an attractive tabletop display. The kit arrives as parts for a medium-level, 472-piece project that typically takes about 4–5 hours to assemble. Finished size is approximately 252 × 227 × 203 mm.
The Spaceport can be expanded: it connects to the separate "Goliath" model using the optional Expansion Kit (sold separately) to create a larger, fully motorized marble run. Whether you build alone or as a shared project, the process is engaging and satisfying.

Do I need glue or tools?
Our mechanical models, marble runs and music boxes fit together without glue, and no special tools are needed. Some miniature house and book nook kits use a little craft glue — any extras are listed in the product description.
Is this kit right for a beginner?
Check the difficulty and build time shown above. Beginner and Intermediate kits are perfect first builds; Advanced kits have more complex mechanisms for builders who want a challenge.
Does the model really move?
